Welsh born Chico was a sensation on The X-Factor…
Despite being voted off the show he will be the name people remember for his pure entertainment value and his talent for singing, dancing and bringing a smile to your face!
Chico has recently returned from Jamaica where he shot his music video for the single "In Your Eyes" collaborating with Grammy Award winner Lady Saw, the first lady of Dancehall. His first foray into the charts with “Chico Time” in early 2006 is a certainty to be No 1, it's a song that says “It doesn't matter if you're short, tall, fat, black, white or red, look at yourself and say… LIFE CAN BE FUN!"
This is far from this being Chico's first outing into show business, apart from performing for 15 years in a male revue show he also narrated, co-wrote, co-produced and provided the original film score for the short film "Winner Takes All" which was nominated for Best Short Film at the BAFTA Cymru awards in 2004, short listed for Best UK Short Film at British Independent Film Awards 2004 and shown at various film festivals world wide.

IT’S CHICO TIME!
He Came! He Saw! He Conquered!
From the minute the doors opened girls jostled for position close to the dance floor and didn’t move for 2 hours!
Finally the wait was over and Chico appeared on stage at 1am to a paparazzi style entrance with the blaze of flashing cameras and mobile phones held high in the air!
Chico danced and sang his way through Livin’ La Vida Loca, The Time Warp, Kiss, et al rounding of this part of the show with the almost certain to be No1 chart single, Chico Time to the delight of the mainly female audience. An interesting interview with DJ Derren showed Chico to be an interesting intelligent performer!
Chico stayed on to meet and greet his audience and have his picture taken… nothing was too much for him.
Love him or hate him Chico is Mr Entertainment, from the minute he entered the club till he left at 3am he had a smile on his face and he genuinely had a good time! The capacity Club de Mar crowd certainly enjoyed his visit.
In 2006 Chico Time will once again come to the club, if you missed this performance you won’t want to miss his return!
