The young and talented Dutchi has been touted as one of urban music's most pioneering DJ’s in both Ireland and the UK. For almost five years he has been on a rampage across Britain, exclusively targeting his sponsor's preferred clubs and is currently on a Mecca USA club tour of the UK and Ireland, which is proving very popular with clubbers in the country. He is one of a few, if not the only Irish based DJ to break into the UK club scene on any large scale, often working alongside big names including Trevor Nelson and Westwood.
Dutchi seamlessly mixes the best of contemporary Hip Hop and R&B and even throws in a few old school tracks to keep you guessing whilst taking advantage of his vast knowledge of the whole genre. His own remixes are a huge crowd pleaser and are very much sought after by clubbers in his regular haunts. These tracks have had massive support on the underground club scene and include, J-Kwon - Tipsy(Sunshine - RMX) , Kelis - Milkshake(Philly's RMX).
He has hosted fashion shows, official launch parties and concert after-parties for artists including Usher, Neptune’s, Nelly, Kanye West, Mario, Blu Cantrell, Kelis, Beyonce and Ludacris. He has interviewed international urban artists including JaRule, Destiny’s Child, Angie Stone, Nelly and Missy Elliott.
Not only a music mastermind but he is also an accomplished journalist, regularly contributing reviews for Blues & Soul magazine as the Northern Ireland correspondent.
Giveaways on the night will consist of Mecca USA goodie bags which will include a range of Mecca USA branded merchandise, from T-shirts and hats to Mecca USA 'Under the Radar' CD's. Also, to celebrate the release of the new Destiny's Child No1’s album there will also be some Destiny's Child giveaways including promo CD's, posters, t-shirts and bags.
